Visitors are mainly older and there are a few Spanish and English bars in the town and the port.

A great location for novice snorkeling. The beach is now well groomed and clean. Heed the warning signs. Beautiful scenery is the lure here. A very photogenic beach.

Lovely picturesque village now a quiet residential and holiday destination. Decent hotels and apartments to rent. Enough nightlife and entertainment, but not an all night noisey party town. There are many owner occupied properties which are privately let during to long hot summer. However I find January to June is a nice time to go.

A tourist resort on the north west of the island. Roads wind through the old town and down to the marina with spectacular views of the volcanic cliff faces that stretch for miles. There is a small black sand beach.

After hearing it recommended I was quite disappointed when I arrived at this beach.

The surrounding shops and cheaper excursions than las Americas are much more interesting than the beach itself.

It was quite a windy day and the clicks offer great protection.

You must visit the area and the ice cream shop on the corner before you get to the beach had a nice selection (including a lot of sorbet options too) but other than that it's not even worth walking the rest of the way to the beach from there.

This is a lovely little village which is located right next to the sea but there's only a very small beach with a big Harbour where you can book a boat ride to see whales and dolphins it will take you out to sea just off the coast where you can see the whole of the island then it will take you up see the dolphins and whales which is a brilliant site they also give you free drink and a free little meal which was rice of some sort then they will drive back to the island and drive along the coast of a bit and then they stop and then you can go for a swim in the sea by jumping off the side just for €25 a person but back to the village the village has plenty of little shops and is always quite busy with holiday makers there isn't a lot of parking which is a problem because you frequently have to park at the top where you would then have to walk down the hill which is fine until you have to walk back up the massive Hill.

It was about 2pm a bit cloudy but the beach seemed very packed. I'm not sure if that was because it's a small beach or because there were a lot of people.

The town is mainly low rise but with one multi storey hotel dominating the headland. The rest of the accommodation here is apartments which are built up a steep mountainside.
